Last weekend I almost didn't go to Glisse en Ville, a 230m long waterslide set up down the Rue de Voltaire, because the weather looked so awful. However as soon I got there, the indecisive weather we've been experiencing worked to my advantage and the rainclouds drifted off to reveal blue skies. The atmosphere was lively, with upbeat music blasting and people strolling around in swimsuits enjoying the fresh sunshine. I would definitely recommend renting a blow up ring if you don't already have one because they make you go super fast, and collisions are a lot less painful! The slide itself was so much fun and I got quite a few goes for my 1 hour slot.

Tickets (10CHF) become available a few weeks before the event, and it is worth being organised and buying them as soon as possible because they sell out fast.
