Chances are you've seen one of their trucks around town, or heard a friend raving about them, but have you ever been to The Hamburger Foundation's restaurant? Tucked away in a fairly nondescript street of Paquis (not one of the dodgy ones, dont worry) the restaurant doesn't immediately stand out, yet once inside it becomes clear why the company is so popular. Filled with vintage chalk lettering, on-trend decor and witty posters, the place offers style without being too upmarket.
I love the fact that they only offer three choices of burger, it makes ordering quick and easy and sets the place apart from probably every other restaurant in Geneva. The service is fast and the burgers are delicious: filling, not too greasy, yet not too healthy-tasting. Perfect. They start at 19CHF which isn't the cheapest, but they come with a good amount of fries and salad, and are of very good quality.
I think The Hamburger Foundation is an amazing place to go for lunch or dinner when you want to treat yourself to something trendy, yet don't want to burn a hole in your wallet.
