It's been a week since the Food Festival and I'm still dreaming of spicy Indian snacks, spring rolls and red earth cake from the good ol' U S of A. "A Taste of Culture" was organised to celebrate the huge number of nationalities and cultures here at IIL, and that is just what it did. The lively music and sunny weather made for a nice, relaxed atmosphere and the food did not disappoint. As well as a free meal, the event also offered games & a piñata (organised by the Latin American stand), a nail bar, a book sale and a junk sale. Huge thanks to everyone who made this festival possible, the Parent's Association for making sure everyone was in the know, and of course all those kind souls who brought in free food!
This event was part of the Saint Joseph Celebrations, and our information is from the Parent's Association. To find out about other events you can read a short overview of the Sunday Events on the school's blog.
