Take a boat ride across the lake! Some of you may already be familiar with the “mouettes”, the small yellow boats that taxi people from one side of the lake to the other. But for someone who hasn’t lived in Geneva all their life, these boats are exciting & so much fun (well they are for me at least!). A short 5 minute ride from Eau Vives to Perle du Lac will take you right past the jet d’eau and give you a lovely view of the city. You can even get a lift all the way over to Genève Plage! The boats are part of the public transport system, so your bus ticket will cover it, and they’re pretty convenient for nipping from one side of the lake to the other. Give it a try!
